Preschool and Childcare

Responsibilities:

Maintaining a safe, comforting and loving classroom environment Plans and implement the daily lesson plans and classroom activities. Organize each day’s activities to provide children with a variety of experiences and opportunities that allow them to develop curiosity, initiative, problem solving skills, and creativity Interacting proactively and positively with children to develop bonds and create trust Communicate professionally with families regarding their child’s daily activities as well as growth and development Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.

Observes all rules and regulations of Cornerstone Preschool and Childcare and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children. Maintains professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the training manual Maintains a professional attitude and work behavior. Assists in other capacities, as determined by the Director. Skills and Qualifications:

Self-motivated, self-directed, creative, reliable, and trustworthy come to work on time, enthusiastic, committed, and professionally prepared every day. Bachelors, Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA or equivalent work experience plus training.

Must pass the Applicant Background Study required by the Department of Human Services. Must have documentation of U.S. Citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
