The bodies have been counted and  justice delivered to those responsible. The decision with what to do with the rumble strewn NYC financial district has been made. It is time for a new start.

A World Trade Center Memorial is being built.

A Memorial that will stand as a symbol to the world about our strength and we will not bow down to acts of cowardice. A Memorial that is just as much a symbol and icon to the world as the buildings that were destroyed. A Memorial that leaves scale would have to be an office building, to pay tribute to the thousands of office workers who where a part of this tragedy.

And of course, it should look like we're flipping the bird to the bastards that did this.

While it would be nice to have that as the new World Trade Center, this is what the new Freedom Tower will look like.
